After being away for a few weeks, Naira Marley is back with behind the scene shots of the video to his song, ‘Soapy’.

After taking a few weeks off, Naira Marley and the king of the Marlians is back to drop the video to his hit single, ‘Soapy’.

The Marlians might have been getting restless, waiting for their king to release a video for their anthem, but it seems the wait is over. A few hours ago, Naira Marley posted a picture of himself, Zlatan, Rahman Jago, Guccy Branch and one other person on his Instagram page with the caption, “Inside Life.”

You might remember that “Inside Life” is the first set of words off the hook to ‘Soapy.’

They were all dressed in orange outfits to mimics prison clothes while backed what seems like a container. The shot feels like it came off the ‘Soapy’ video shoot.

You might remember that a few months ago, Zlatan, Marley, Jago and Guccy Branch were all arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). While Zlatan, Jago and Guccy Branch were all released after four days in custody, Marley was charged before a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos. He is still only out on bail.

The video will be shot by TG Omori.

Ubi Franklin & Iyanya Took 60% Of My Income – Tekno Makes Shocking Revelation

Tekno has just thrown the internet into some serious pathetic shock after an interview with popular radio personality, Daddy Freeze.

The singer who has lost form musically, revealed a lot about his bad medical condition and how he spent so much on getting remedy to his ill-health till he got broke.

He also talked about how he got frustrated till he had to start visiting native doctors as he was so desperate to be well.

Tekno also talked about how he was so confused about going for a show in Cameroon or going for his surgery. He revealed the reason for the confusion was because he was already reaching bankruptcy and getting frustrated regarding the terrible condition of his health.

Read some of the things he said, “By this time, I’ve seen like four doctors. I was getting tired, praying, some people go say na Ubi because is expiring in December, so like e no wan make I sing again after the contract… someone said it’s a girl, offered me Babalawo… at this time I was already losing my mind it was insane.

“I’ve drank all the medication, they’ve even given me reflux medication that they said I have to drink for two months or at least three months for the acid in your stomach to start to go down because all these time the acid from my stomach was coming up to my throat and irritating my vocal cords. so I got tired eventually, went to London, stayed a bit and then I came back to Nigeria…. this is already four months of no work, no recording, no performance, just spending money from hospital to hospital, doctor to doctor … somebody even tell me say make I buy goat and cutlass(laughs).

“So I called my mom and said, look, this is what someone told me. My mom started to cry, I don’t know, maybe she thought I was going to do it. … At this time when I was talking to my mom on the phone, it was extremely hard to talk… I kept studying. Through all these time i’ve been doing vocal therapy, speaking to different voice coaches online, just trying to see if there’s a way I can learn to sing from the inside because they said that if you can sing from your bellies… you’ll be able to perform, so I was just trying anything I could do.

“I was studying and at some point I just thought, maybe I should get some surgeries done. In my head, I just felt this is the only option because I’ve been drinking this reflux medicine for so long and the acid keeps boiling my throat. Mind you for the past four to five months I’ve been sleeping with my bed laid down like this (he demonstrated with his hands on what seem to be like a slant position) with my body up and my waist down straight. so when I sleep, the acid doesn’t come up. But since I sleep crazy, I start my sleep with the recommended position and wake up with all parts of my body in a different dimension.

I had a show in Cameroon three weeks after that surgery. so it was after I go and perform in Cameroon first or I do the surgery first… why this Cameroon came up was because, at this time, there was no money again, at this time I already blew through everything so I needed that Cameroon show because that show was paying me a hundred and ten thousand dollars for that weekend. so it’s either I do that surgery, or go and do the Cameroon show, but I was scared because If I do Cameroon and perform with an already irritated voice just because I need money to balance my bills, I would end up going back to where I started. So I did the surgery first and I had three weeks to get fine before I had to go perform in Cameroon but the doctor had told me that I needed at least two months before I can go back on stage because of the kind of surgery that was performed.

“By this time, I didn’t even know how bad it is. They cut me in five different places. The surgery was done by a robot… after the surgery, I woke up and looked at myself… it wasn’t a good feeling at all. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t sneeze, I couldn’t laugh, I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t do nothing at all… at this time now, there’s metal inside of me…”

What Will You Do If The Real Boko Haram Come Visit You At Home

File Photo
Garba Shehu, the spokesman to President Muhammadu Buhari said this in a statement sent to the media on Tuesday.
The Presidency has insisted that the real Boko Haram is “defeated”.
Garba Shehu, the spokesman to President Muhammadu Buhari said this in a statement sent to the media on Tuesday.
He said: “The position of the Nigerian government is that the Boko Haram terrorism has been degraded and defeated. The real Boko Haram we know is defeated.”
In addition, the presidential spokesman said: “This is a fall out of the collapse of the Libyan State, and from farther away, of the Islamic State in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. They are taking advantage of our porous Sahelian borders.”
He noted that “What we have now is a mixture of remnants of the Boko Haram, fugitive criminals and the Islam in Maghreb together with West African terrorists bonding together.”
The statement reads in full:
“The position of the Nigerian government is that the Boko Haram terrorism has been degraded and defeated. The real Boko Haram we know is defeated.

“What we have now is a mixture of remnants of the Boko Haram, fugitive criminals and the Islam in Maghreb together with West African terrorists bonding together. This is a fall out of the collapse of the Libyan State, and from farther away, of the Islamic State in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. They are taking advantage of our porous Sahelian borders.

“As a consequence of these international gangs, we have seen an increase of trans-border crimes and the proliferation of small arms in the Lake Chad Basin area. Outrages are common in Niger, Mali, Chad and Cameroon.

“Nigeria is a large country covering nearly one million square kilometres. This is roughly equivalent to the size of France and Germany put together. In addition to our porous borders, in the neighbouring Sahel-Sahara region, a lot of ungoverned areas provide haven for terrorists’ occupation and training.

“Without the tremendous efforts of our armed forces and the joint operations by the Nigeria-led Multinational Joint Task Force, MNJTF, formed by the countries of the Lake Chad Basin, this single problem of illegal arms flow would have been much worse.

“At the moment, the Nigerian government under President Muhammadu Buhari has made the country safer than it met it. In 2015 when he took power, Boko Haram terrorism was active in nearly half the number of states in the country. They controlled a territory the size of Belgium, with a flag and systems of administration and taxation of their own. Emirs and Chiefs had fled their domains along with hundreds of thousands of ordinary citizens. Such is no more; they have been taken from them.

“At present, terrorist activities have been confined to the remote, rural agrarian areas of Borno State and pockets of outrages in Adamawa and Yobe States.

“As the situation develops, our fantastic armed forces are changing their tactics. Just recently, they launched “Super Camps.” The essence of this is to act proactively and respond quickly to the changing nature of terrorism.

“In addition to the additional support the government of Nigeria is receiving from friendly countries across Europe, United States and the Middle East, the Nigerian government is spending large sums of money in weapons procurement to keep our military in good fighting shape.

“While the military arsenal is not something you pay for and get, requiring mostly long-time orders, weapons will come in accordance with the terms of contracts. This country is expecting the commencement of the delivery of Super Tucano fighter jets, very effective in this kind of warfare, beginning next year from the United States.

“The administration has embarked on an ambitious electronic/digital border monitoring scheme to curtail the porosity of the borders and, working with the UN agencies, the World Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, donor agencies and friendly countries, has started providing solutions to backwardness in development and poverty in the sub-region because at the very heart of recruitment schemes of the terrorists lies the issue of poverty.

“A few weeks ago, the administration inaugurated the Northeast Development Commission, to fast track development and poverty eradication in the affected areas.

“The Buhari administration is strongly encouraged by successes recorded so far by our armed forces and the MNJTF, and is optimistic that in the same way as our military defeated the Boko Haram, so would the ISWA terrorism be defeated.”
